BOOKING

Enquiries for bookings can be made via the contact form on this web page, by email or by telephone.

Upon receipt of an enquiry, Victoria Jane will confirm availability and supply a quote to the client.

Once the client has accepted the quote, Victoria Jane will provide an invoice, outlining the payment terms.

For weddings, or group bookings of more than 3 people, a deposit payment of £50 will be taken to secure the booking.

The deposit payment will be deducted from the total amount due for payment.

PAYMENT

​

Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, cheque and cash.

Payment by bank transfer must be made at least 5 days before the booking date. Payment details are as follows:

Payment by cheque must be made at least 10 days before the booking date. Cheques must be made payable to Victoria Shepherd.

Payment by cash can be made up to the day of the booking date.

At this time, Victoria Jane cannot accept payment by credit or debit card.

CANCELLATION – VICTORIA JANE

​

In the unlikely event that Victoria Jane must cancel a booking, Victoria Jane will notify the client as soon as possible and all monies paid will be refunded in full to the client.  Where possible, Victoria Jane will provide a recommendation to the client for another available stylist, subject to different charges and payment terms.

CANCELLATION - CLIENT

​

Victoria Jane should be notified by the client as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation. 

Deposit payments will be refunded in full for cancellations made up to 8 weeks before the booking date. After this point, or for bookings made less than 8 weeks before the booking date, the deposit is non-refundable. 

The client will be liable for 100% of the total amount due for payment for cancellations made within 14 days of the booking date.

AMENDMENTS

​

Victoria Jane should be notified by the client of any booking amendments as soon as possible. Booking amendments are subject to the availability of Victoria Jane and are not confirmed until outlined in writing by Victoria Jane.

Booking amendments include changes to; the number of clients, the service requirement of clients, the location, the date and the time.

Victoria Jane will provide an invoice to the client for any booking amendments. This invoice will supersede any previous invoice provided to the client.

Booking amendments may be subject to the cancellation fees above.

TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATION

​

Travel by car will be charged at 0.45p per mile for the return journey to the location specified by the client from RH10 7EY.

The client will responsible for the charge of other transport if required, including, but not limited to, travel by; train, taxi and airplane.

The client will be responsible for any other associated travel charges, including, but not limited to; parking charges and road toll charges.

Accommodation near to the clients’ booking location may be required depending on the time and location of the booking. The client will be responsible for the booking and payment of accommodation. 

The client may be responsible for loss of earnings for bookings that require travel over more than one day or for bookings in locations outside of the UK.

OTHER CHARGES

​

ASSISTANTS

Dependent on the number of clients and the time of the booking, assistant stylists may be required.

For each assistant required, the client will be required to pay an additional fee of £50.

ACCESSORIES

For some hair styles, accessories may be required. This includes hair extensions and padding. The client will be required to pay an additional fee for each accessory provided by Victoria Jane. Fees will dependent on individual requirements.

ADDITIONAL STYLE CHANGES AND FULL DAY COVERAGE

The client will be required to pay an additional fee for additional style changes or for full day coverage. Fees will be dependent on individual requirements.  

 

All additional fees will be outlined in the initial quote and final invoice due for payment.

TRIALS

​

Trials will last for a maximum of 3 hours.

Additional trials will be subject to the current trial price. 

The date of the trial will be dependent upon the availability of Victoria Jane. In peak season (April – October and December) weekend availability may be limited.
